1. Scope

Nitentxara B.V. publishes this statement for nitentxara.digital, in Dutch and English, about our recording studio in Amsterdam. It does not cover third-party platforms where clients later publish music or podcasts.

The European Accessibility Act pushes more services to make digital channels usable for people with disabilities. We follow that direction and improve the site incrementally.

2. Status and standard

We design and test nitentxara.digital against Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as a target. We do not guarantee full conformance on every detail, but we prioritise structural fixes over cosmetic tweaks.

This statement was prepared on 15 October 2026. We review it at least yearly or after major layout or content changes.

3. What we already do

  • Semantic HTML with headings, landmarks and form labels tied to fields on contact.
  • Skip link to main content and visible focus for keyboard users.
  • Text alternatives for studio photos from our own library.
  • Language attributes per page (nl/en) and descriptive link text.
  • Cookie banner operable by keyboard; see cookie policy.
  • No autoplay audio on marketing pages; in-studio sessions are separate from this site.

4. Known limitations

Website: some decorative motion may distract; use system “reduce motion” where available. Map links to OpenStreetMap open an external site we do not control.

Studio (physical): we are at Overtoom 551, reachable via Tram 1 and 3 stop at Overtoom/Vondelpark, a short walk from the studio. From De Vlugtlaan metro station (line 50) it is about a 12-minute walk via Overtoom.. There is a doorstep at the entrance and no lift to the live room level. Booth and control room are reached through narrow corridors; wheelchair users may be limited for band sessions with up to 5 musicians at once. Call 020 244 8916 before booking if you have specific needs; we plan together.

Language: technical articles in guides use jargon; we add plain explanations where we can.

5. Feedback and enforcement

If you hit a barrier on the site, email [email protected] with the page URL, browser and a short description. We acknowledge receipt and explain what we can fix or when a fix is scheduled.

If you believe our response is insufficient, you may contact the Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Markets or the Netherlands Institute for Human Rights for discrimination in services. We prefer to resolve issues directly via contact.
