Built around playing together

Nitentxara began in 2018 to capture bands and artists at the same time, with sight lines between musicians and control. The engineer who quotes your session usually sets the mics and delivers the files.

We do not dry-hire the rooms: every session is assisted. That applies to vocals, live band, mixing, mastering and podcast.

The rooms

Live room — 36 m²

Isolated floor where needed, diffusers and absorption for even low end. Up to 5 musicians at once, each with a personal headphone mix.

Booth — 7 m²

Dry space for sung vocals, rap, doubles and voice-over, with pop filter and reflection filter as standard.

Control — 21 m²

Symmetrical monitoring, nearfields and a second small pair for checks. 16 microphone channels available.

Process and revisions

Mixing and mastering include 2 revision rounds within agreed deadlines; extra rounds follow rates. Raw recordings are delivered as 24-bit WAV at your project sample rate.

Getting here

Overtoom 551, 1054 LL Amsterdam (Oud-West). Tram 1 and 3 stop at Overtoom/Vondelpark, a short walk from the studio. From De Vlugtlaan metro station (line 50) it is about a 12-minute walk via Overtoom. The entrance is at street level; thresholds inside are low but not zero — email contact if you need specific access support.

Hours: Monday to Friday 10:00–20:00, Saturday 10:00–18:00. Closed Sunday. By appointment only.
